Fire
Extensive fire in your unit
- Drop to the floor to avoid smoke
- Crawl out to your hallway for safety; if this is not accessible, crawl to your deck for fresh air
- Once sprinklers activate, emergency personnel are automatically called.
Building fire alarm sounds
- Check your hallway door for heat (best by back of hand)
- If cool, take your Go-Bag and whatever you need for an extended period
- Exit building using the stairway
- DO NOT USE ELEVATORS
Medical Emergency
Make two calls:
- Dial 9-1-1 from your home or cell phone, and provide your condo unit number
- Next call the WFP Concierge, if possible, at 503-710-8668
Notes
- Emergency personnel already have access to the buildings
- AED units are found in the Azure and Mistral mailrooms. Directions guide you in their use.
Earthquake

Flood
Garage is dry and time permits
- Move your car and desired items from storage
Garage has water all across the floor
- Do not walk through water, because of possible electrocution and slipping
- Do not drive through water more than an inch deep —it will be considerably deeper in some parts of the garage than in others
Monitor progress
- Go to www.noaa.gov
- Search for Willamette River Flooding
- Select the Observation-PRT03 > Willamette River at Portland, then River at a Glance
- Finally choose at Portland (PRT03) for information
If your condo unit is at risk
- Move valuables to high place or remove from unit
- Take your Go-Bag and move to safety
If there is no risk to your condo unit
- You may choose to shelter in place.
