Battery recycling onsite

Battery recycling onsite

Do you have any old batteries sitting around and in need of proper disposal? Please don’t put them into the garbage. Please don’t send them down the trash chute. Please don’t put them into the regular recycling bins. Please do bring them to the concierge!

The WFP concierge desk now has a collection box where your batteries should go. We send the batteries on to the PDX Metro recycling center, for proper recycling.

When added to the landfill, batteries leak and the chemicals leech into our ground water supplies. Proper recycling reduces the risk and is the better choice. Now it’s an easy choice, too.
